My Quote:
“The right to a good death is a basic human freedom. The[2006-JAN] Supreme Court's decision to uphold aid in dying allows us to view and act on death as a dignified moral and godly choice for those suffering with terminal illnesses." John Shelby Spong, retired bishop of the Episcopal Church, USA.
Summary:
This quote represents the “plus” sides of Assisted Suicide. This quote says basically that a human should not suffer; humans should not have to go through a painful death. But it really depends on if you are religious or not. If you are highly religious, you don’t believe in assisted suicide, but if you are not religious, you believe in it. But either way, if you do not want to see your parents or grandparents or loved ones, you do not want to see them suffer. So you will do whatever it takes to make sure that you do not see them have to suffer.
Source Analysis:
This website shows many plus and negative sides. It shows the bills that actually passed PAS and where at. Also it gives quotes from people from both religious, non religious, and court. So this source really gives me all sides of this topic, plus and negative sides.
