I know that Assisted Suicide is legal in three (3) states; Montana, Oregon, and Washington. In 2007 there were attempts to make Assisted Suicide legal, but it failed to be passed in the legislature of Hawaii, Vermont and California. In the medical field they use terms such as “PAS”. PAS is the Physician-Assisted Suicide and is known as “Auto Killing” or “Self Killing”. PAS, Physician-Assisted Suicide is not the same as euthanasia. Both of these techniques both use the use of lethal medications to end a person’s life, but the difference is who actually ends the patient’s life. In PAS, the patient must self administer the medications. Euthanasia is when a “third party” administers medication or acts to end a person’s life, but Euthanasia is illegal in every state because euthanasia is murder because there is no just way to do it. There was a case where a brother killed his own brother because he wanted to be put out of his misery, well his brother killed him and is now being tried for murder.

Chase, this is a very interesting topic to do research for. It can be very controversial; I remember it from public speaking. It seems like you know quite a bit about your topic, but still want to find out more about it. I will be reading and your blog and waiting to see where you go with this topic.
