Reflection Paragraph on Findings
In my findings paragraphs, I was able to find the answers to all of my essential questions, plus more! I learned even more about where assisted suicide was legal, and where it was not legal, why it wasn’t. I learned that assisted suicide is protected by the fourteenth amendment, so that makes it impossible to make it not legal, but as I read in an article, states cannot make it illegal, but it is possible to pass laws to make it illegal like putting laws against it. I learned why some states do not want it legal I their states. For one, they are afraid that it will put a bad image on their states. Names such as, the killing states, or the deathly states. As said in an article, sometimes in the state assisted suicide is highly supported at the beginning, but when it gets passed, it is not as highly thought of. So then the states try to get it from being a law, and they cannot. So all of findings paragraphs, I was able to answer my essential questions which was really good.
